Nice to meet you

I am Daniel Beehn, a multidisciplinary designer from central Illinois. For me, design is a passion, and it runs deep. I am always on the lookout for the latest trends and any new skills that can take my expertise to the next level.

I possess over 10 years of experience in my field, and have worked with clients both large and small on a variety of projects, ranging from logos and identities to print-based materials and websites, each one producing results that deliver. I have also used my knowledge to help teach and inform students across the region about creativity and design.

What I do best

Adobe Creative Cloud

I use Adobe's Creative Cloud apps for a majority of my work—Photoshop for product design and photo manipulation, Illustrator for iconography and illustrations and InDesign for print and digital multi-page documents.

HTML + CSS + JS

For over 10 years, I have used standards-based HTML and CSS—along with the latest JavaScript—to create all my web-based projects. I hand-code most of my work to ensure its cleanliness and operability.

WordPress

I use WordPress to build more complex web-based projects such as blogs or online storefronts. Each project is built to specification and uses its own child theme along with custom CSS and JavaScript code for a unique result.

Figma

When designing for the web it's important to get an idea of how user interactions work. That's why I use Figma to protoype my designs and present them to my clients for approval.
